5 Reasons Why You Should Use Natural Skincare

5 reasons why you should use natural skincare

Small risk of allergic reactions

Natural skincare products due to not containing irritating substances in their composition, are softer and safer for our skin. We cannot completely exclude the occurrence of an allergic reaction when using a natural cosmetic, as some of us may be allergic to the natural ingredient present in the cosmetic. The risk of allergy or irritation, however, is much lower than when using a conventional cosmetic.

Effectiveness

Natural skincare products have many active substances and vitamins in their composition that nourish and regenerate our skin. Cosmetics containing chemical substances are much less effective, as these substances act mostly as fillers and are responsible for the consistency and pleasant application of the product.

Price

Many people think that buying natural cosmetics comes at a huge cost. It could not be further from the truth! There are a lot of brands of natural cosmetics on the market offering their products at similar prices to conventional cosmetics.

Of course, there are a lot of companies that offer these cosmetics at much higher prices, but when we have a limited budget, we can easily reach for the cheaper ones without worrying about their effectiveness.

Environmental protection

Most packaging for natural cosmetics is made of environmentally friendly materials, which can be recycled.

zero waste

Animal protection

Natural cosmetics produced in the EU are animal-friendly and cruelty-free because they are not tested on them. Most natural cosmetics are also vegan, i.e. they do not contain ingredients of animal origin. These raw materials, such as wax or lanolin, used in the production of some natural cosmetics are obtained without the cruelty and suffering of animals.

Let’s remember that every company and producer of cosmetics are profit-oriented. When choosing conventional cosmetics, the price of which barely reaches £1, we should think about how cheap ingredients must be in such product that it would bring profit to the manufacturer and the shop we buy it in. Are these ingredients really valuable?
