Emollients are a key word in hair care. Enveloping, protecting, smoothing, protecting what is most important: hydration and health. An emollient mask simply could not be missing from our offer. We focused on the high content of unsaturated fatty acids, the use of plant wax, which is unrivaled in protecting against damage, and the addition of herbs, which means that, despite the richness of emollients, the mask does not deprive the hair of volume.
The mask is universal and suitable for all hair types, and its effects can be easily adjusted to their needs by the amount used and the frequency of use.
What’s inside?
Hemp oil – a source of unsaturated fatty acids and therefore a favorite of high porosity hair. However, we would not be so basic when dividing it, because the phytosterols, phospholipids and vitamins D and E contained in it can benefit all types of hair. Hemp oil rebuilds the lipid layer of the hair, makes it elastic and shiny, and by keeping the hair in good condition, it also helps protect its color.
Candelilla wax – an emollient that maintains moisture inside the hair. It coats its surface, protecting it from damage and giving it shine.
Aqueous extract of linden flower – known from rinses with a fantastic shine effect and facilitating styling. Linden blossom contains over 20 flavonoids, phytosterols, terpenes, gums, pectins and mineral salts, but what interested us most in hair care were the mucuses – they lightly coat the hair and retain moisture. Their action perfectly complements emollients in protecting the hair and adding shine. Additionally, linden flower extract adds volume to the hair.
Cetylstearyl alcohol – an emollient that smoothes and retains moisture in the hair.
Behentrimonium methosulfate – a mysterious-sounding (but derived from plant raw materials), cationic surfactant. Translating from a chemist’s language into Polish, we can say that thanks to its positive charge, it reduces static electricity in the hair and makes it easier to comb.
Vitamin E – rightly called the vitamin of youth. It protects the skin and hair against oxidants, thus taking care of their condition (and color!).
Xanthan gum – responsible for the consistency of the mask and an additional dose of hydration
Citric acid – gives the skin the appropriate pH and slightly moisturizes.
Vanilla absolute – natural concentrated vanilla extract, which adds some moisture to the mask’s care and enhances the scent of linden to make it even sweeter and warmer
The mask does not contain unnecessary fillers, artificial flavors and dyes. It is preserved with a mixture of benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid, approved by, among others, by Ecocert. It does not contain silicones, and since we know how important it is to establish your own PEH balance, we will also add that we have not added proteins to it.
The mask has one more piece of information: Use it in a very small amount (half a teaspoon is enough).
