What’s in the cream?
Coffee hydrolate – the multitude of volatile compounds contained in coffee beans stimulates not only the sense of smell and palate, but also circulation in the skin, thus helping to get rid of slight swelling in the morning. But that’s not all there is to it. The antioxidants contained in coffee protect the delicate skin under the eyes against the harmful effects of external factors, helping to maintain the health, vitality and good appearance of the skin for as long as possible.
Prickly pear oil (cold-pressed and unrefined) – unfairly known for being extremely expensive, when it should rather be considered extremely good 😉 What makes it so special? First, phytosterols. Compounds that wonderfully stimulate the production of collagen in the skin and stop the breakdown of elastin, keeping it firm and smooth. Cold-pressed, unrefined prickly pear oil contains several times more of them than in most other oils, which, in our opinion, speaks for itself 😉 In addition, there is a high content of vitamin E and a profile of fatty acids with a clear predominance of unsaturated fatty acids. In other words – a light but nourishing, soothing and regenerating skin patch.
Glycerol stearate, cetyl alcohol – emollients that hinder the evaporation of water from the skin and give the cream a pleasant consistency
Radish ferment – an ingredient that protects the cosmetic against the growth of bacteria – natural and moisturizing at the same time
Vitamin C (here as ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate) – an effective, but mild, non-irritating form of vitamin C. Vitamin C does a lot: protects against oxidative stress, helps in regeneration, accelerates healing, strengthens blood vessels, improves skin tone… Much has been written about it , and still not enough. This time we will summarize it by saying that without vitamin C there is no collagen synthesis, so we cannot imagine eye cream without it.
Wine extract – full of antioxidants and with them anti-wrinkle and anti-inflammatory effects
Vitamin E – nourishes, regenerates, helps slow down the aging process
Cetearyl olivate and sorbitan olivate – have a softening effect and protect against water evaporation, and give the cream a pleasant consistency
Sodium hyaluronate and hyaluronic acid – a solid dose of hydration. We have composed various types of hyaluronic products – with ultra-small particles that penetrate the epidermis, moisturizing it in deeper layers and increasing the ability to regenerate, and with larger particles (which create a moisturizing and protective film on the skin surface).
Guar gum and lactic acid – are responsible for a stable consistency and an additional dose of hydration
The cream is preserved with radish ferment and a mixture of benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid – these are compounds occurring in nature and approved for use in natural cosmetics, among others. by Ecocert. We use them in minimal quantities. We do not use polymer bases, artificial fragrances or other things that we would not want to put under our eyes ourselves.
Finally, the cream would like to add something from itself: I do not make lip service – I underwent detailed tests and the measurements showed that after a month of use I increased skin hydration by over 68%. The volunteers also said that I smoothed, nourished and created a thin protective layer on the skin.
