Instead of splitting hairs, it’s better to protect it with emollients and restore its elasticity and moisture with humectants, right? And with this in mind, we developed the Rose and Honey mask. It can work as an intensive moisturizing and smoothing treatment for dry hair, used after washing, or used before washing to maintain the good condition of normal hair.
The mask is a product with a thick and viscous consistency and a rich formula that allows you to enclose as much goodness as possible in the smallest possible volume. Its action is based on natural oils with a high content of unsaturated fatty acids (linseed and rose hip), recommended especially for hair with high porosity and weakened, e.g. by dyeing or styling. However, we do not want to limit ourselves to this concise classification, because after all, every hair needs more attention and something nourishing from time to time. If you feel that the words: smoothing, discipline, weight, moisturizing and shine are constantly coming to your mind, we recommend you try it!
In the mask you will find:
Honey – the sugars, waxes, pollen, proteins and volatile compounds it contains are a feast not only for the palate. The moisturizing properties of honey give your hair more life: it becomes elastic, smoother and shiny.
Rosehip oil – our favorite oil, both light and nourishing. It contains plenty of linoleic acid, which works wonders in the care of dry hair, restoring its shine, protecting, smoothing and adding weight to easily dry ends.
Linseed oil – the quintessence of what oil should be for higher porosity hair. It is very, very rich in unsaturated omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which adhere perfectly to any defects in the hair cuticle, covering it and protecting it against moisture loss.
Cetylstearyl alcohol – an emollient that smoothes and retains moisture in the hair.
Rice oil – a universal, light oil with a delicate consistency that makes the hair softer and pleasantly smooth to the touch.
Behentrimonium methosulfate – a mysterious-sounding (but derived from plant raw materials), cationic surfactant. Translating from a chemist’s language into Polish, we can say that thanks to its positive charge, it reduces static electricity in the hair and makes it easier to comb.
Squalane – a close (and more stable) relative of squalene derived from olives, which is one of the components of sebum produced by human skin. A master of sealing the protective lipid layer: it protects against water loss and is a reliable way to take care of dry hair ends. Often seen in facial care, it is equally necessary and beneficial for hair. And how wonderfully it polishes and disciplines!
Vitamin E – rightly called the vitamin of youth. It protects the hair against oxidants, thus taking care of its condition and color.
Guar gum – responsible for the consistency of the mask and an additional dose of hydration
Orange oil – refreshing and natural
The mask does not contain unnecessary fillers, artificial flavors and dyes. It does not contain silicones, and since we know how important it is to establish your own PEH balance, we would like to add that we do not include proteins.
The mask has one more piece of information: Use it in a very small amount (half a teaspoon is enough). For damaged, dry hair, I recommend applying it after washing and rinsing with water after fifteen minutes. If you have normal or oily hair, it is best to use it before washing on slightly damp hair. Then apply it only from the ear down.
